HRC offers 3 kinds of funding to expand the scope of research in the humanities in Taiwan as well as to encourage short-term participation by international PhD candidates conducting research in Taiwan. They are the HRC Study Grants for Seminars on the Works of Humanities Specialists, Funding for Domestic Academic Seminars, and Funding for HRC Seminars on Humanities Classics for Short-term Visiting PhD Candidates in the Humanities.

To maximize academic resources and develop the research potential of junior scholars and academic institutes, HRC establishes funding for Short-term Seminars where specialists are invited to give lectures on significant academic topics in universities around Taiwan.
